Hot Stone Massage/Treatment: ($140 EC)
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Aromatherapy: ($120 EC)
This combines ancient and modern massage techniques together with essential oils from plants, fruits, flowers, bark, roots or resin to bring about physiological and psychological well-being. Essential oils are added to a base massage oil (Grapeseed or Sweet Almond oil) to create a unique blend suited to each person's individual needs.

Swedish Body Massage: ($95 EC)
This is a traditional form of massage incorporating 7 ancient techniques to aid health and well-being as well as bring about a sense of relaxation. This massage can be deep tissue or gentle and soothing. It is completely up to what you (the client) requires in pressure.

Reflexology: ($80 EC)
This incorporates the application of finger/thumb pressure techniques to points on the feet, hands or ears to stimulate the body's own healing mechanisms. These parts are viewed as being microcosms or miniature representations of a larger system, the whole body, based on the belief that by stimulating the part, one can stimulate the whole.

Indian Head Massage: ($70 EC)
It has been traditionally practiced by the people of India and passed from mother to daughter and from father to son through generations. It involves the manual application of massage movements to relieve the physical, psychological and spiritual effects of stress on the upper back, arms, neck, head and face, bringing about a sense of inner peace and tranquility.

Sports Massage: ($100 EC)
This is a combination of Swedish massage and deep tissue massage applied either pre-activity to aid performance and/or post-activity to aid recovery. It can also be applied to various sports related or non-sports related injuries using various specialized techniques. Pre-sports massage is usually applied vigorously with speed while the post-sports massage is usually applied rhythmically and slowly. This therapy can be done using a cold-pressed oil or a base cream.

Reiki comes from the Japanese words 'Rei' meaning 'universal' and 'Ki' meaning 'energy'. It incorporates a technique that works on balancing energy flow to aid healing. There are three stages to Reiki: Reiki 1- which teaches the practitioner to use the energy on themselves, their friends, families and pets as well as plants and food. Reiki 2- takes the principles a stage further with the use of ancient symbols that activate the use of energy to greater benefit and can be used on clients. Finally, Reiki Master - allows the teaching of Reiki to be passed from a Master to a layperson. It should be noted that Reiki might not be suitable for everyone and if the idea doesn't appeal to you, just let me know at the beginning of the treatment. I usually do colour association at the end of the therapy when you're at your most relaxed and can easily let go of stress or problems.

Baby/Infant Massage:
This treatment is a wonderful tool to enhance the bonding process between mother and/or father or close family member and their baby. It is the intuitive use of touch combined with the adaptation of massage techniques to soothe and nurture a child through the stresses of infancy. It is not a therapy I perform on the child. The treatment involves teaching the parents/guardians the processes involved in the massage and all the benefits. The therapy is ideal from babies from 6 weeks old to 6 months old and can be taught in a class of 3 or on a one to one basis.

Stress Management:
This treatment encompasses techniques intended to equip a person with effective coping methods for dealing with stress. Stress management is effective when a person utilizes strategies to cope with or alter stressful situations. The treatment involves an in-depth consultation form which will then determine whether the client needs a massage, a session/course of reflexology, reiki or any other of the above therapies.

Ear Candling: ($40 EC)
This therapy assists the natural clearing of earwax and remove toxins from a person's ear as well as balancing the pressure within the inner ear by means of a hollow candle made of muslin cloth and dipped in bees-wax, placed in the ear. It involves lighting one end of the hollow candle, and placing the other end in the ear. It is very soothing and calming and clients usually feel a sense of a clear head and clear sinuses.
